Although not as intense as 07/08, after a very busy week which saw almost 2 feet of snowfall, and a generally very busy winter which started end of November, we are getting very close to our breakaway point of 260 cm. (which is 10 cm above the industry standard, and 20 + cm above the seasonal average)
Hopefully winter will soon be over soon, and this next week looks very nice and will feel spring like. I don t know if that pattern will continue for very long though and the long range forcast is showing more snow. We may be in a position where we will be forced to charge the stated additional price quoted in your contract.
If you would like to opt out once the break away point has been reached, please fill out a contact form and let us know that you do not want to pay extra and we will discontinue the service at that point so you do not incur any additional charges as per your contract. For all others we will continue to clear snow as per usual for the stated additional price. (In most cases that's $20 or $25 per storm, which includes generally 2 or 3 passes each storm)
19 storms x 2 visits min, usually 3 visits per storm, up to 5 visits for some places in the 29 cm storm.
We have somewhere between 40 and 60 visits so far this year for each property.
